Best tools for tracking NFT data and insights

Minting, buying, and selling NFTs can be fun. It can be hard to keep up with in a market that moves 24/7, fortunately there are great designers and engineers at work building tools that make it a little easier.
What excites me about these tools is how focused on their product a founding team can be. Everybody has access to the same set of data. Every purchase, trade, or signature is recorded on the blockchain’s public ledger — it’s totally transparent. This means you don’t have to worry about where you will get your data, it’s up to the team to decide how its used and displayed. Anyone who has worked

Icy Tools

Icy Tools is a popular tool for monitoring NFT sales trends and mints. Taking a look at their homepage, you’ll see a snapshot of today’s market — which projects are trading the most volume for that snapshot of time. With the paid version, you can monitor transactions within 1 minute of them posting. You can also set up custom collections and alerts to monitor the behavior of collections or individual wallets.
My favorite utility of Icy Tools are their alerts. I have one set up for Telegram that shoots me a text any time I make a sale.
Moby

Cost: Free tier and Premium for 0.1 ether for 6 months.
Moby is a really slick interface and another monitoring tool. It’s totally free to use most of its tools, but the paid version has some great perks. You can set up alerts to tell you when prices have changed and similarly, create limit orders for NFTs — just like you can do with stocks in Robinhood.
The best part about Moby has to be their insights. They boil down trends into a social media feed of digestible indications of where an NFT project is heading. With the paid version, you’ll get these insights before the rest of us.
Dune

Dune is a free crypto analytics tool. Anybody can create an account and make a dashboard. If you don’t feel like making one yourself, there are thousands of community fed creations to explore. Popular ones focus on specific marketplaces or exciting projects.
I love creating custom dashboards to see how the communities I’m involved in or hoping to learn more about are performing. Dune has made it fun and easy to make data visuals.
NFT Bank

NFT Bank is built around delivering as much value for you and your wallet. Sign up by connecting to your wallet, and immediately see the value of your portfolio. You can look at the market trends, similar to every other tool in this list, but their team seems more focused on individuals first (instead of projects first). I predict they will be adding more social media leaning features in the upcoming months.
The biggest strength is the portfolio summary. NFT Bank has made it easy to see the value of your assets and transactions.

NFTGo is the newest addition to my toolkit. Another free option that has a ton of tools to explore. You can analyze the market cap, single projects, and track whales. They’ve even added a marketplace element and boast a growing community.
I really like the tile design for the upcoming or actively minting projects. This provides a great view into what’s coming up and illustrates how fast this space moves.
